Sourdough bread is made primarily from flour, water, and salt, which are fermented by a natural mixture of wild yeasts and lactic acid bacteria called a sourdough starter. This starter, a combination of flour and water, replaces commercial yeast and gives the bread its characteristic tangy flavor and chewy texture.

There really is something so wholesome about multigrain bread. Perhaps something we didn't love as kids, becomes somewhat of an adult treat. The smell of this hearty loaf baking is just out of this world!
