Umeboshi quite literally translates to β€˜dried plum’. Whilst it may taste deceivingly acidic it is a very high alkalising food, that has been used in Japanese medicine for Β over 1,500 years, Umeboshi are a good source of polyphenols, which are thought to reduce the risk of diabetes, help lower blood pressure, prevent hardening of the arteries, and boost calcium absorption.

INGREDIENTS: Wild plum, Sea Salt, Shiso Leaves
