Organic Salamouni onions are a highly prized, traditional Lebanese heirloom (baladi) onion variety historically cultivated in the West Beqaa villages of Saghbine and Ain Zebdeh. These unique, elongated white or slightly reddish onions are famous for having a mild, sweet, and less pungent taste compared to standard onions. Because they have a exceptionally high water content.
