This is a powerfully adsorptive activated charcoal that has been highly refined and purified to provide an ultra fine powder with a micron of 5-10. It is an extremely light, ultra fine, velvety smooth powder produced from 100% coconut shells.

We have selected a coconut activated charcaol powder, as other forms of charcoal do not have the same health benefits; the structure of activated charcoal produced from coconuts is unique and works in harmony with our bodies, it does not absorb any nutrients, minerals or vitamins in the body as these substances are either too large or do not bond with the activated charcoal.

This Activated Charcoal can be used in a variety of internal and external applications including food, health and beauty products. Our customers report using our activated charcoal to make soaps, face masks, natural toothpaste and teeth whitening products, tonics and detox drinks. Historically Acitvated Charcoal was used in A & E departments to treat over exposure to toxins. It is still used by vets today as a decontamination practice for pets exposed to toxins. Medicinal Grade Activated Charcoal is also used to relieve indigestion, wind, heartburn and dyspepsia.

Keep in mind that this Pharmaceutical Activated Charcoal is an extremely fine black powder. It is messy to use and may stain fabric and towels.
